OOM: reawakening

Lying in a hospital, swathed in white sheets, tubes out every orifice. Apparently it's a CSI thing.

Catherine's awake and awaiting visitors, if so inclined.

[ooc: Millitimed to later tonight, because Mun will be gone from three o'clock or so onwards... Slowtime in effect until tomorrow or so. <3]

And visitors she is receiving. A stressed looking entomologist, a grieving physicist, and a hyperactive, excited little girl.

"MOM!"

Catherine just opens her arms, and Lindsey jumps at her, and there is much hugging for a long time. And, well, Mun'd be lying if there weren't some tears, but there are many more smiles.

"Gil? Sara?" She motions them in, that familiar Catherine-grin on her face, still hugging Lindsey close.

"We're here," Gil says softly, moving in. Sara goes to one side of the bed, taking Catherine's hand. "How're you feeling?"

"Better," she says weakly, sitting up to kiss both of their cheeks in turn. She's a little teary-eyed and a lot touched to see him--shhh, don't tell her that. "Thank you--for looking after Lindsey..."
