T-T oh...*hug*...even if this year feels terrible...you've had tons of fun memories of her... i think you need a balance of people and being alone...because if you're alone too much, now...you'll shut yourself off from people, but you also need some time to reflect on your own... I really hope you take it easy and take care of yourself...
I am really, really sorry for your loss. I understand how you feel. My bunny Frisky passed away suddenly last August while I was on vacation, and I cried nonstop for hours. It feels like the pet will always be there, but it helps to remember that - in a way - they are always with you. It also helps to remember that you gave Penny the most love and the best life imaginable, and you'll see Penny again someday. We're all headed, ultimately, in the same place. But love goes beyond death.
Love Meera
PS) Call me if you want to hang out or talk or anything... I'm here. *hugs*
you guys helped her so much, just by taking her in and being there for her as long as you could, which is all anyone could ever do for her, at least you gave her a home and not a cardboard box...
i will tell you what my cousin evan said when he was about 7 or 8 and his hamster (and he repeated this when his dog of like 10 years died) "well at least now uncle joe (my dad) can have a pet. i think he always wanted a dog"
so just think now that rex has another dog to play with, a friend which is what we all need. and what you have in all of us.
so if you need anything drop me a line.... email me if you want to talk
