Ryan Wolfe had kept himself occupied, working on the same case, with some evidence he collected. What did he have? A shoeprint and sweat drop sample. He managed to collect a DNA sample from the jogger who'd found the body and was waiting for a result.

He decided to see if anyone else had come up with any preliminary findings to the case. Wondering around the corridors he found Aiden, alone, working.

Ryan takes a few steps behind her and speaks softly.

"How's it going there?"

Lost in her thoughts she jumps a little hearing Ryan's voice speak softly behind her.

"Hey." she calls over her shoulder before turning around and giving him a smile.

"Prints I took came up empty in AFIS so he either isn't in the system. I'm still waiting for Hawkes to finish up with the driver and send up prints. But he's still finishing up with Breazdale." Then she gets a little smirk on her face and turns her head to cast a glance at the boiling pot behind her. Then she turns back to Ryan. "Well, most of her anyway."

Ryan's nose twitches with the pot and nods. "Yum," he comments but catches up mentally with what information she'd told him.

"Right, so I guess after I should check with Mr Breazdale's DNA to see if he's the donor of the sweat drop found at the crime scene. Always a process of elimination."

"So far not much from my end either. The jogger's DNA is being processed at the moment so we can see whether he's our donor to the sweat drops I found at the scene. Shoe print not much to go on either, but I'm hoping to see Hawkes later about our vic's shoes. If it's not his then I guess we'll turn to other possible suspects."

"Mr. Breazdale? I thought Flack said the husband was on a business trip? His alibi not check out?" she thought about the possibility, it certinally meant something if the husbands alibi didn't check out. But even if she sweat matched him that still wasn't enough to prove he did it.

Danny quietly pushed his way into the lab, folder holding the driver's fingerprints tight in his hand. A smirk turned up his lips as he watched Aiden working. He was still errand boy, at least he was told that he would be until he managed to get himself caught up on the case. Which he darn well would.

He leaned against the open door, wetting his lips before he spoke, his voice teasing. "So, Crouching Aiden, Hidden Burn... What you cooking in here? I could smell it from down the hallway."

OOC: OMG you came back to us! :) I was afraid we'd lost you. *snuggles*

IC: Aiden looked up with a black expression on her face as Danny came in, quipping as usual. She hadn't seen him since she left him eating breakfast in the hospital. She wondered how he was doing. But if he was teasing it couldn't be all bad.

She wasn't angry with him, hurt but not angry. She managed a smile back at him.

"Don't worry, it's not for you. You heard about criminal defense attorney Breazdale being murdered? Well, I'm the lucky CSI who get's to process her head. I put her in hot water to see what I can get out of her." she smirked. It was a dark joke but she thought Danny'd enjoy it anyway."

[ Nope, just fighting with work stuffs.. it's hard to get online as often. ]

"Hey, what's that look for? Figured you'd be happy to see me." Danny quipped before going quiet and coming up next to her. He was doing well, just bored and out of the loop. But he was alive, and that was good enough. He couldn't believe it'd been so long since he'd seen Aiden. "Got a set of fingerprints I hear you might be needing."

He laughed, stealing a peek into the pot. Totally got the joke and appreciated it. "Damn, and I was hoping for some hot Breazdale soup. She giving up any info yet or do you need to turn up the heat?"

"What look?" Damn, he caught me. "Of course I missed you." she smirked. "Missed you bringing me coffee, missed having someone to torment, missed playing good cop insane cop with the suspects."

"Actually I think I've left her stewing long enough." Aiden came over beside Danny and pulled the skull out of the water. She looked it over to make sure most all of the flesh had been boiled off before sitting in on a towel she had in the sink. She let cool water run over it to cool it off so she'd be able to handle it. In the mean time she opened a drawer to get out a toothbrush.

"I could use the fingerprints, but what I could use even more is some help with processing the fingerprints while I process her skull." she flashed him a smile.
