How's the Midwest summer going? I miss my strawberries and tomatoes and fireworks and corn-on-the-cob and fireflies and the smell of new-mown hay. *sigh* Good thing work is keeping me too busy to get homesick!

Thanks! Though sorry for the agony! You know the angst bug doesn't bite me very often, but TPTB didn't leave me much choice this year did they?

Summer here is freakin hot! We kind of just skipped Spring altogether this year and went straight to July! I think we've had more 90 degree days already this year than we had all of last year! Corn is on target to be knee high by the 4th of July, and my tomatoes are doing great! Short strawberry season because of the late cold snap we had, but tasty!

The Reds suck, but of course I still watch. What can you do? Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!Great to hear from you as always!
