You probably all have it from time to time: a song on the brain. Whether it's the last song you heard in the morning before you go somewhere, or whether it's just someone reminding you of a song in a way they did not even realise, it's pretty annoying.

I love most of your song choices, especially Florence + The Machine (I'm absolutely addicted to Fl+M) and Running Up that Hill is one of my favorite songs (I also have an amazing Within Temptation cover of that one). I also tend to associate certain songs with particular ships, especially when I’ve watched an amazing fanvid for that ship, or (in Luke/Reid’s case), when I’m writing fan fiction and have a song in the background.

For instance:
Michael Henry & Justin Robinett - Slow Dancing in a Burning Room -- > Damon/Elena (The Vampire Diaries). I don’t even actively ship Damon/Elena, but I once came across a fanmix for this couple and I loved the song and now it’s “their” song in my mind. Same goes for Bloodstream, by Stateless.

I associate the song Fresh Blood by Eels with True Blood and The Vampire Diaries, but I guess that makes sense.

Sarah McLachlan - Do what you have to do --> Michael/Sara (Prison Break). This was my OTP when I was sixteen and there was this amazing fanvid to this song and now it’s one of my favorite songs ( ... )

Yay, I absolutely adore FL+M as well :) And I've heard that Within Temptation cover, I don't think I can decide which version I like best: Kate Bush's, Placebo's or Within Temptation's...

Wow, Slow Dancing in a Burning Room is absolutely amazing. I've never heard the song before, not even the original, but it's definitely one of my favourites now :D And Bloodstream sounds great as well :)

Haha, yeah, that makes sense :) The song's very interesting, though, I'm gonna listen to that again when I have more time, I'm intrigued...

I must say I've never watched Prison Break, but that song is wonderful. And Sarah McLachlan just always sings beautifully :)

Oh, I love King of Anything, I only recently heard it on the radio. And I see the connection with Luke/Noah :D
