Oh, I loved the Numa Numa scene!! Only on SGU! I like how you made the kiss scene B/W - it shows it off so much better! Any chance I can get this in the original size? {Bambi Eyes} Great choice for AWESOME, too. Yep, that's our man. That scene made me cry.
Hah, I did not expect the kiss to be so popular! Making it b&w was actually a desperate move -- once I made the pic brighter the color version was just awful. I only kept the 400x250 version. But tried to redo a larger one (in two versions -- I am not sure I could grab the exact same moment) today.
OMG, thank you so much - I absolutely adore these!!! One of my favorite scenes in the whole show, and it's sooo dark!! I don't suppose you could do the same trick with the hand kiss in the infirmary in "Lost"? That's another one I just can't seem to be able to pull off.
The handkiss is way too dark. if I brighten it and turn it to black and white, it does not help. young is just a piece of mush on the picture. :( Sorry...
It took me a several moments to figure out what the least fav character was. I thought a window pane of glass ... duh! Telford, the skunk. Numa Numa was a hoot. I love the B&W Epilogue too! Look out for Bambi eyes ... I'll just wear a Young mask and hope you'll cave ... 8) Camile has grown on me. Her transformation from bitch of the episode to contributing member of the crew really won me over. After her run in with command in Justice, she had a better perspective. It still took her some more time but I think after Incursion she really had an idea (good one) that she didn't want anything to do with the load Young carries daily.
*And I am fiercely protective of Young and it is not that Camile can get under his skin, but sometimes I feel she has totally no empathy or has no idea how Young operates.*
Oh, but I think that's part of her charm, if you will. She knows bureaucrats, can deal with them all day long, but the military mind is in another galaxy to her way of thinking. She had no clue what leading meant until she dealt with it in Justice. And that wasn't for very long at all.
I think she likes to state the obvious just so that everyone is on her page. It's part of those "active" listening skills they train you for customer service. However for Camile, at least in the beginning, she wanted everyone to follow her lead, the civilian bureaucrat government hodgepodge that we deal with today in DC.
oh, and I love your icon! TJ looked absolutely beautiful on Novus in the pre-ALS days. She was just clearly happy and blooming. Well, if Young were my partner, I guess I would be blooming too (I am afraid prettiness is genetic...). LOL.
