I know a dyed in the wool Red Sox fan should not be cheering for another team but I am. I have liked the Rays for years and wondered why they could have young talent and then lose so consistantly. Well now the tables are turning. I also have several friends who are big Rays fans so lets beat those Phillies. Winning the WS is a really great ( Read more... )

This might not be the year the Rays win their first World Series (or it might), but win or lose, it's been a great season, and it's nice to have a Red Sox fan jump on our band wagon. Thanks Kathy.

I have been a die hard BoSox fan since the early 1970's (Oh, how I just dated myself). I cannot bring myself to root for either the team that defeated them or the team they would have played. Nope. Just cannot do it.

I have been die hard since 67 so same here for dating. I usually like the Am league team anyway but the Rays usually play good tough baseball and there are a couple of local guys on the team. So what can I say. Did you grow up in New England? I

Nope...I am not from New England and have never lived there.

I was actually born and raised in Illinois and now live in Maryland.

How would you hook up with the Sox from Illinois in the early 70's when you live close to the Cards, Cubs, and White Sox?
