Aiden had found the note when she returned to her locker, ready to clean up and head home for the night. But Danny's recent behavior had caught Aiden off guard and she had know the man longer than anyone else to know when something was up.

Changing out of the clothes she had spent almost a whole two days in, Aiden washed up quickly and made her way out of the crime lab, leaving her folder on Mac's desk to review.

She arrived at her favorite cafe (She couldn't help but smile when she saw the location on the note) and made a mental note to thank Danny later for remembering about it. Aiden entered the cafe and quickly found Danny in the back, not suprised at his choice of location. Making her way through, Aiden finally arrived at the table before taking a seat. "Hey you." She said as she sighed into her seat before looking up at him. "What the hell is up?" She asked, concern dripping from her words.

Danny gave her the best smile he could muster, even if it was a a little unsteady. "Hey, stranger." Was all he got out before she was in full Aiden-interrogation-mode. He should have figured she'd be all for cutting to the chase. "You want a coffee? Italian soda r'somethin'?" He asked.

She rolled her eyes in good humor as she laughed a little and nodded. "I'm just going to get a coffee since I'm guessin' this will take a while." She joked knowing that out of all people, Danny would be the one to linger as much as he could before actually speaking what ever was on his mind.

"What, you got some place to be?" He asked feigning insult over her assumption. Even if her assumption was dead on and they both damn well knew it. "Lemme get that." He said following her up to the counter and pulling some weather bills out of his wallet. "and a biscotti..." He tacked onto the end of her order while they stood at the counter.
