This article is about my friend, Paul Burns. I am OUTRAGED that this happened to him. He didn't deserve this and they will never bring his attackers to justice. If you know him, call him, email him, give him some money to help with the hospital bill. Whatever you can do. He needs his friends.

Welcome to the asshats that are the KC media. Having dealt with them over the last two weeks, it amazes me to no end how people who claim to provide accurate reporting of information cannot seem to get their info correct.

Please let us know what we can do to assist your friend. Is there an address we can mail donations or a Paypal account to send funds to cover his medical expenses? If you could post that, it would be much appreciated.

that's the same one. I'm not sure how to go about how to get money to him. I was just going to give him some. He works at Gomer's on 39th and Broadway, and i suppose you could leave him an envelope there with him, or someone would give it to him. I'm not sure. I'm thinking I'm going to open a paypal account (he has no computer himself) and anybody that wants to donate a few bucks can send it there, and I'll make sure he gets it. I'll have more info later today on that.
