Tio Tom was one of those rare individuals who managed to reach out to so many people, impact their lives for the better. I first met Tom for the second time 13 years ago, little did I know at the time how much he would shape my lfe and the lives of others I would come to know.

We will miss him dearly.

I think Tom and your Mom would be proud of you Nick. Chris speaks highly of you, and I am thrilled to hear that you are about to embark on another adventure to Asia.

Hugs,

G.

I admit that I really want to try chili chocolate gelato. As soon as I can find some, I'll raise it aloft in salute to Tom!

Don't know what to say about Tom, never having known him. I believe you are the person who suggested "The Master and Margarita" to me? I just wanted to thank you - I enjoyed that book immensely. Your entry below this one reminded me of a (non-fiction) book called "Future Shock" that I read some time ago. It isn't the deepest reading ever, but it was novel for its time. It also spawned an interesting "movie" that you can watch on YouTube!
