I agree that College of St. Catherine has a better ring to it. Though if I have to choose between University of St. Catherine and St. Catherine's University, I would pick the former. The latter just sounds wrong.

yep. it's crap. and I will probably forever call it college of st. catherine. Unless we all decide to become British, then we are supposed to say we went off to university, and then it might be ok.
