Hey There

Hey everyone, I'm sixteen and in high school and I'm applying for the animation program for this year. Does anyone mind helping me out by answering a few questions? X]

1) I'm really unsure what they're looking for in the animation requirements. Would just sending in a flipbook with a quick little animation be alright? I'd love to hear what other people have done to get a sense of what they're looking for :D

2) I live on the east coast, is this going to be a problem at all cause I've been kinda hearing mixed things... :/ I'm also curious about the whole fincial aid situation since most things seem to be off limits to anyone out of the state and I do believe I'm going to most definatley need that. But I may just be reading into things the wrong way.

3) For the recomendations I plan on getting the first one from my art teacher who've I've taken a serious art course with, but for the second one I'm tempted to get one from my favorite math teacher of three years. Mostly because of heard that CSSSA really wants to hear that you're really decicated and hard working and I know my math teacher would be an excellent person to write a reccomendation on just that. I just want to be sure that I'm making the right choice when going with him, because there's always another art teacher I can go with if people think that would be a better idea.

Thank you so much you guys, finding this community has really made me feel a lot better about doing this, and extremely excited :D :D :D
