I would call the Grad Check Unit if I were you (the number is on your TDA in that opening paragraph). I turned my stuff in in August and mine says "candidate". Good luck!

i don't know if you called, but i called a week ago and they said that departments were starting to work their way through grad checks. i also don't know if you got an e-mail about it yesterday, but i got one from the history department (as i'm a history major) and it pretty much confirms that statement. it says to contact your department by feb 28 if you haven't been moved to candidate, and that if there is an issue with your grades/transcript, that you'll be notified via e-mail. :)
