So like, is/was anyone here a transfer student at one point? The website started requesting my final transcript like three weeks ago, so I SENT it three weeks ago. The website still says that they need it, and that's fine, I understand that they have a lot to sort through right now (my registration date isn't until July 24th ( Read more... )

I was in your situation a year ago. I sent one out when I registered and I started freaking out majorly when it showed on my portal, just weeks before my registration, that I still needed transcripts. So I called the administration office and they just told me to be patient cause they take in a lot of students. haha

I think you should just wait it out, or call if you want to be more persistent. (:

If you are 100% sure it was mailed with the right seals and stuff, I wouldn't worry. I was a transfer student last semester and it took seemingly months for paperwork to clear the student portal. I had financial aid that took care of basically all my expenses but for the entire semester my portal showed I owed money. I called and according to their records I was paid up, but it took 16 weeks for that to reflect in my portal.

So maybe call and I they say over the phone that you are good, don't worry what it says online.

sorry that got so long. :)

call. be persistent. it takes a lot for them to get their butts in gear. i know this is not related but it took them like a year for my admissions letter to get out. i didn't get my admissions letter until the first week of the semester started. i had to enroll in all my back-up classes.

the admissions and records department has something wrong with it.

I haven't gotten my damn admissions letter either. e_e This entire process has been extremely nerve wrecking. LOL I've been pissed because my brother is enrolling at the University of Houston here in town for his first year of college, and has been getting check lists and all of these helpful pieces of mail.

I've gotten SHIT. Except for a housing bill. Ugh. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with a bad experience.
