Why is financial aid SO SLOW?

I move out to CSUF next Wednesday *dances* and I have yet to get my private loan certified! I called Sallie Mae and was put on hold for a long time before I got some real answers. They approved the loan and are only waiting for the certification. They sent a request for certification on July 3rd! That's more than a month ago

in terms of the private loan, even after recieving the check, my status on titanonline never updated as complete for the private loan.

a week into school i went to the sfs office (the part where you walk in) and asked them if they had my check. after a huge run around, the handed it to me so i could take it to the bank, even though i was signed up for Direct Deposit.

i wont lie that i did not enjoy my experiences with the whole thing.

I wish financial aid was more efficient.

But because I did call Sallie Mae and they confirmed that it wasn't certified yet, I can only wait until I move in before going directly to the financial aid office.
