Noloholo, Day 13: Baobab Seeds

Today is another overcast day that clears as the hours pass. Ben finally arrives in Gabon today, and I am pleased to be on the same continent as him, not to mention just one time zone away. I enjoyed your description of the baobab pod. Having read about them in the past, I often wondered what they must be like, and I now have a better notion of it, thanks to you.

My sister used to give me detailed descriptions of the foods she ate when she was in Africa: she was in the Peace Corps, and she would write me lengthy letters carefully delineating all her experiences. You're good to try new foods.

Ben had told me about his upcoming travels--good to know he's off on his Big Adventure as well. I try to remind myself to read your entries, and I often find myself thinking about what time it must be for you on your side of the world, as well, when I do.

It's good that the PC helps new volunteers with exposure to those who went before them.
