We've been busy stocking up on honey from a local farmer--he grows things even beyond just "organic," and was telling me some of his secrets--rotating crops each year, bringing in insects that get rid of the "bad" ones, etc. He and I got to discussing honey, as his is so rich and flavorful compared to what's in stores. He also said, which I'd forgotten--that eating honey from local growers is an excellent way to help your body get rid of allergies to local plants, which totally makes sense.
Those students sound so sweet. I bet they'll all get crushes on you guys!
