I wake up when I feel water dripping on my face. At first I think I’m imagining it; I raise tentative fingers to the mesh of my tent. It’s real; it is rain. Nothing like the beautiful, clear air after a good rain.

The pankekis sounds good! I make savory and sweet crepes, and love them--I never think I'd ever get enough of them, but I suppose on a daily basis,... perhaps...
