I'm glad you saw someone to hear what alternative things might help you heal. We 're each different but it can be so frightening and disillusioning to hear or read about the horrible things that might happen. I'm personally a firm believer in trusting your own instincts about health issues.

Good to see you reading and writing! I've read a lot of anecdotal information about my own health issues from those who've been through this themselves. So many doctors are good at treating symptoms with pills, but learning root causes of things has always fascinated me, and if there are natural, healing things to do myself, it always makes me feel reassured I'm on the right track.

Sue, it's so true that our bodies are amazing healers (though sometimes the wires get crossed, and then we need a bit of help from modern medicine :) I overthink everything which doesn't help with me following my instincts. And yes, baby steps indeed!
