Beautiful images--those trees changing color are breathtaking. I grew up heading to the Adirondacks as a kid, and always thought it was lovely up there.

I remember my parents, grandparents, and my son's dad, and when I become sad that they're gone, I also remember that they live on through me in so many ways. Their lives envelop me, and their spirit is a part of me forever.

So much of the news has just been achingly sad: hurricanes, floods, fires, earthquakes, shootings... People live through incredibly difficult things, and somehow they go on. Others' struggles inspire me when I feel overwhelmed myself. -sue
