Should all people have the same rights? Or better yet, all groups of people? Almost everyone from the South is related to at least one member of the Military. The South produces more recruits than any other area in the Nation. These men and women have given their lives, limbs, youth and hearts in order to secure freedom and democracy. yes everyone should have the same rights no matter if they served in the military or not. you join the military on a volunteer basis, its not mandatory, so you cant be pissed at people that didnt do it or expect that the people who did do it should have some sort of power or more rights than those who didnt. besides, most people only join for the extra benefits anyway, so that right there should be enough. tons of people join and then get a free college education, the rest of us dont (ok some do, but you know what i mean).

What rights do you want that you dont want the rest of us to have anyway?

Maybe "rights" wasnt the right term. Its just that whats the point in fighting for a society that isnt what you want it to be. I know someone is going to say "well just dont fight" but I just think about my grandpa who Served until he was physically inable to serve any more, and I just know that what he fought for and where we are today are two diffrent ideals.
