Following nothings's lead, paulobrian gave me the letter V and memed me to name my favorite ten songs beginning with that letter. And, uh, well, here are my current favorite ten songs that start with V. Well, four, actually - that is all that I could think of that I know and like. (Curse you, Paul!) Eep, I am terribly sorry. Sometimes I am a little too loyal to the random method. V felt borderline, but I glanced over my own collection and thought it could be done. If you'd like, I'll do my V list as penance. Or you could assign me some other ridiculous letter. Let me make it up to you, man! :)

'Y' it is. 'W' would have been much nicer. :-) I shall post on my LJ, raising philosophical issues about falling trees making noise (or not).

Actually, after I posted the above, it occurred to me that one of my favoritest all-time songs is a 'V', and not on your list: "Velvet Green", Jethro Tull. Also of possible interest is "The Victory", Steeleye Span.

'Y' songs now posted; enjoy. 'Y' is an evil letter, in that there are (literally) hundreds of songs that begin with the word "You", and most of them are awful.
