When is the right time to put a dog, a pet you've had since your childhood, to sleep?

Probably when she can't walk on her own anymore.

Talk to your vet. The criteria were very specific. I think it was:

-Either can't move or demonstrates severe pain when moving.
-Asocial
-Does not like to be touched.
