I'm getting used to working with engineers all day then coming home to the Soup Dragon from Planet Clanger.

For example, earlier this week:

HIH: [SR] was in the shop. She said [MW] has broken her leg badly in two places.
Me: ...
HIH:....
Me:...
HIH:...? Oh. [MW]'s dead isn't she.?
Me: Yup.
HIH: :)
Me:.. So who was it?
HIH: Who was what?
Me:.. Aargh!
