Now, I just have to get used to being in the passenger seat of my own car.

I've sort of given up on it for the time being. It was all just so demoralising. I'm going to get some more lessons as soon as I can find the time. I'm going to get more lessons that it seems like I need and keep getting lessons after the instructor says they expect me to pass becuase they've never been right yet. You know what they say, seventh time lucky and all that.
