I think it's perfectly reasonable to assume that there is a Patty or Pattie or Pat who happens to have a birthday on St. Patrick's Day. In fact, knowing the significance of the current day might make parents more willing to use variants of "Patrick" as names for newborns. As such, it could very well be Patty's Day or Pat's Day at least among the friends of said individual and for the duration of their birthday celebrations. =P =P
