Someone posted a link to this article in the Dragoncon lj, and I was so impressed, I had to repost it. It's basically a guide to men about what women are thinking and feeling when they're approached in public, and if they want to approach strange women in public, how to do so without frightening and/or "creeping out" said women. I'm really sorry, but the first thing I thought of when I hit the term "Schrödinger’s Rapist" was "You have no way of knowing whether or not he's in your box."

Omg AMY, I'm considering printing this out and handing it out at my gym like a flier. For some reason I wasn't being subtle enough to this one guy the other day when I was on an elliptical and had on my earphones, blasting music and he kept talking to me and I answered in monosyllabic grunts.
