So I took Fang for his surgery this morning. It was explained to me that an adrenalectomy is either very easy or very hard, hence the large price range ($400-$900+). Like I said last night online, I'm glad to hear Fang is doing better, and will be around for the long-haul. I'm still going to keep my fingers crossed for him.

This vet sounds like a good guy - you said he's not your regular vet tho. Was he a specialist? Is he someone you can see regularly? He sure sounds like he did good by Fang!

He is a specialist. I had a few names from my regular vet to call and one of them called a colleague who gave me this guys name. So after about 6 different specialists I settled on this guy cuz he seemed like he knew what he was doing and had a lot of experience. The only problem is that his office is in Kensington, up off the Berlin Turnpike. It's a long drive, but if I ever need a specialist for fang again for anything he will be the one I go to. My regular vet is good, he is just not a specialist.
