I'm not familiar with Atlantis so I can't really offer much in the way of constructive criticism, but I thought this was lovely. The mood of the piece really brought it to life and allowed me to feel the isolation of the characters, which in turn made the last few lines the more potent.

I love this story. It's nice to see that everyone has their quiet moments, and watching Teyla and Cadman relate to each other was also nice. The touch about Atlantis crying at night is also nice. I like the idea of the city being semi-aware.

Thanks :) I agree about Atlantis. There's so much to the city that it's hard to believe that it's just a bunch of parts.
