turns out the power outtage was the responsibility of the power company, and it affected more than just our house. Some friends of mine down on Howe St were out as well. So there is apparently a line separating two sections supplied with power from the city that runs down the middle of our street and the middle of Howe st, because people on the opposite side from my friends had power as did International house. As for WHY the power went out...not one seemed to know. thats the best explanation i can give you. at least it wasnt res services fucking with us.
