Because it's kinda cool. I like Scheme anyway. Haskell I hear is awesome, but breaks your brain.

It does! I've been reading "A Gentle Introduction to Haskell", and I can't get past chapter 4 without having to back up and take a break. It's a lot at once, don'cha know.
