OOC: Timeline of events
OOC: Since I'm interplaying the events of Day 6 with things that happen after, and I've got two different NPCs involved in the fray, I thought it might be best to make a timeline so you can all follow what's going on.
-- We cut into the action immediately after the fourth hour of Day 6 (which is actually Day 2 in my timeline), right after Curtis is shot and the nuke explodes. This is 10 AM.
-- A number of these scenes are post-episode, which I know makes no sense with the real-time aspects but bear with me, as I'm trying to squeeze my characters' reactions in between events.
Somewhere before 10 AM:

-- Jack's reaction to shooting Curtis and the nuke going off.
-- Meanwhile, in New Jersey, Jennifer finds out about the nuke and decides to fly to L.A. to assist her old friend. House tells her she's a moron, and she almost doesn't go until a background match is found in her file and they ask her to come in.
-- Jennifer calls Jake and tells him she's going to L.A. Jake is concerned for her well-being, but he knows that he can't stop her so he asks her to keep in touch. She leaves Princeton for L.A.
Between 10 AM and 11 AM:

-- But arriving there, Jennifer gets a frosty reception from Jack, who thinks she needs to be as far away from him as possible. He relents eventually and assigns her desk duty.
-- After breaking the news to his team that he shot Curtis, Jack snaps at both Mark and Jennifer.
-- Jennifer reacts to the situation. Jack's comment that she wouldn't be worth anything without Jake makes her re-evaluate what she is doing at CTU.
-- Mark pulls Jack aside and demands to know what his problem is. Though he can't coerce much out of him, Mark gets the other man's silent plea for help.
-- Bill Buchanan drags up some distressing news for Jack: that his father's name has come up in connection with the investigation. Jack begins a search for the man he hasn't spoken to in nine years.
-- Mark and Chloe find out that Jack's father may be connected to Fayed thanks to Bill, but elect to keep it quiet for the time being.

-- Jennifer, shaken by Jack's words, calls Jake...but is soon pulled aside by Mark, who wants to know what she knows about Jack's family. Jennifer insists that while she knew Jack before he stopped speaking to his father, she doesn't really know what happened.

-- Jennifer finds out from Bill that Karen Hayes has resigned and wonders what the hell is going on in D.C.
-- Jack runs into his father, and then they are both kidnapped by his brother.
