Week off Work...
Well, I had a week off work (almost) last week.... Off from Friday the 26th till November the 4th and back into work on the 5th...
Friday 26th
My Cloak arrived ready for Samhainn, Simon came round and we played BloodBowl, then we headed over to Mike's place and played another 2 games of BloodBowl, one against Mike and one against his son Stu.
Saturday the 27th I went to an amusment park with a friend, it was as part of the fright night opening hours so the park was open till 22:00. We spent the whole day riding coasters & white knuckle rides, looking at totty and generally having fun and stayed until kicking out time riding Colossus & Samurai in the dark and taking in one of the halloween mazes (Hellgate).
We've decided that as I got a good discount through the S'Bux package that if we go again next year we'll get extreme fasttrack as it cuts out about 90% of the queueing!!
Tuesday I got called into work to help close as one of the other partners was feeling really ill that week.
Wednesday (Samhainn) I finally got the stuff that I wanted to get done on Tuesday finished up (mainly cutting fabric leaves out of old clothes and glueing them onto an old pair of trousers) showered and got ready for Inquis's wedding... Finally got to wear my 'spring' mask by Miscellanious oddities (couldn't find it's exact match online, but the Greenman mask on this page is fairly close) and recieved a few complements on my costume (I went as the green man). Inquis's dress was beautiful, well done on creating such a fantastic wedding dress for yourself hun :-) Thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening.
That was probably the highpoint of my week off...
Felt horrible on Thursday (nothing to do with overconsumption of alcohol at the wedding as I only had a couple of pints) so I didn't go training...
Friday... Simon came over again and we played BloodBowl before heading over to Mike's again to play another 2 games. Good fun, and Mike's wife feeds us, which is both above and beyond the call of duty and makes us feel welcome so we'll keep coming back, lol!
Saturday mother was plastered so I didn't get any painting done (which I was planning on doing.) and Sunday wasn't much better... it was getting to the point where I was looking forward to going back to work, lol.
