A letter I wrote for my students before school today - because ultimately I could not stand to use the sample I wrote two years ago. Used a story I have been telling in one form or another for 20+ years -- many will recognize it. Refrain in an ongoing theme as a fat middle school teacher in a fat-phobic world.

Thank you for sharing this. I came across your entry through a mutual friend, Blue.

I am begining to realize the joy of my body as it is for myself now. Rather than trying to fit into someone else's preception of ideal. Much of my family are fat wonderful people as well as how I've learned of you to be in this post. Thank you.
