so, after behind behind the wave, off the edge of the envelope, behind the times... my dad finally convinces my mom to get highspeed internet. and it only took like 6 years? one of the big things was always the cost, not so much anymore. they're paying the same they were for dial up and both computers can be online and the phone isn't being tied up

aaah, the miracles. they were still dialing up at mom's when i moved back in with my dsl. THEN they got cable. same deal - cost. :) yay for highspeed access!

yeah...now. to get MY parents off of dialup now that I live here for the time being.....
actually its because of the area they live in. dsl and cable service is a no go.

yeah, dsl hasn't been availible here until recently. I know what you mean. and cable is essssspensive if you have little reason to have it or throw money away.
