Fuck the dissenters and start going with the cover charge. There will always be the ones who whine and say that they won't pay. Heck I pay $3 to get into the Escapade when we go out in Altoona on a Saturday night even when it isn't Bear Night.

Again - totally with you Kenn...

I am curious to see what the donation jar is going to have tonight...

Any idea about a fifty fifty to raise some funds?

Yes Rocky, there is going to be a 50/50 this evening, plus we will be selling raffle tickets for the door prizes. Karen has generously donated the jello shots, MP3 player and DVD along with other small items. We also have a Starbucks basket, a few other gift baskets, large Bear and Crowne Plaza has also donated an a free night to include breakfast in the morning.

See you and Carm this evening!

Sadly, the folks that for so long that have taken the BHH for granted are now complaining that they won't have their drinking money if a cover charge/donation is put into place. It really makes folks look beyond petty. Hell, I had to pay $5 to go into any of the bars out in Los Angeles, and that wasn't for any particular reason or event!

I guess $2 cuts into people's drinking funds. I don't recall any drinks being $2, but maybe I'm missing something. Oh, I know what it is! There won't be enough money to go over and watch the twinks dance at Stallions (which charges a cover charge to get to their dance area), or maybe they won't have enough money to get into Liquid 891 on any of their event nights (yes, they charge $5 cover to get in during those evenings). Or, maybe yet, Karen's generosity of putting out FREE food has spoiled all of the guests into expecting everything for free. Hmm, isn't our country in a financial pickle right now cause everyone wants things for free?

EXACTLY!! Rumor has it that one of the guys that was bitching about it just dropped 15K on a birthday present. So what, you can drop $15 on a present but cannot drop $2 for a door donation to help out the local Bear Club
