What its like to be paralysed

I'm doing much better and my facial muscles or almost back to normal. Went to visit the Doc yesterday and he confirmed it was Bell's Palsy and put me on meds and steroids. It's a weird feeling to be paralyzed. Imagine just waking up one day and feeling one side of your face different from the other especially when you smile. Then you get to ( Read more... )

my young nephew had a serious case, from falling asleep in a car,under the a/c. It took about 3 months before he showed any improvement. It was scary, but he recovered completely. and yes follow your docs orders and take care of yourself,handsome

Just glad you're ok... i have known several folks with this, generally it subsides or becomes manageable from what I understand. I can only imagine the panic... *cubhugs* buddy and glad it wasn't worse.
