i really hate the sound when dogs lick their fur. hamish has been doing it all night and it kept waking me up. i would just sigh loudly thinking hamish might know that i was totally annoyed, but he never figured it out. oh well. i would really like a dog. i'll wait until i'm moved into a real house, or until the stella sit. is worked out.

Dogs licking their fur is one of the worst sounds on this planet. One of my dogs Molly has skin allergies, so she'll just sit and lick/chew on her fur for hours on end. Sometimes I'll tell her to stop, which does no good, then I grab her head and move it from where she was licking/chewing. Sometimes that works, but then other times she'll just look at me for a couple of seconds and then go right back to what she was doing. It's almost like she's saying "Hey Alex! Anyways....(CHEW CHEW CHEW CHEW LICK CHEW LICK CHEW!)
