TAG START: 27/07/09. COMMUNITY: foreignrelation. WHO: Cuba [cubonic] & Vietnam [oriental_paris]. WHEN: PRESENT. WHAT: A thread continued from here. STATUS: Ongoing.
[Cuba contemplates the situation and realizes how strange it is having a decent conversation while sitting on a side table surrounded by other nations panicking or ignoring the scene. Though, he can't complain really, its good company, amongst the panic.
He smiles, placing his hands behind him on the edge and leaning back slightly, but not forcing the other from her position. Its comfortable after all]
Takin' breakfast out to the beach, relaxin', soakin' in the rays of the mornin' sun. Its never too bright 'n the mornin' yah know? Almost perfect, dependin' on the weather 'n all.
[Vietnam doesn't consider it odd at all, since family reunions are always messy and loud, and yet, you always find a chance to have a nice, calm conversation somewhere amidst the chaos. She knows when to pay attention to her environment and when to focus on who she's engaging, and right now, it is time to focus on her conversation with Cuba.]
[She lets herself move back as Cuba does, shifting slightly, and holding onto him gingerly so that she doesn't lose balance.]
Yes... it's always too bright in the afternoon. [another stifled yawn.] And hot. It makes me so drowsy...
Mmmn, but the morning is juuust right. I like to wake up before sunrise and just... walk along the shore and watch as the sun comes up... daylight comes quickly enough. Wake up with the rest of the world...
[A hand that supports him slips a little more behind the smaller figure to assure her stability, a chuckle escaping his throat as he listens to her speak, enjoying the breaks, the silences, the words. Its a rare time when there is a break in the day, a break in reality to enjoy just talking to someone you could feel connected to.
Not being yelled at, shunned or insulted. This was nice, he could get use to this.]
Afternoons are good for a nap, yah? Thats what I like 't do. Wake up, like yah sad, get some things done then lay in the shade and relax for an hour or two before heading back out when the sun's not 's bright.
Somehow relaxin' after workin' hard for the most of the day makes it all the better.
[She closes her eyes, just letting herself grow quiet for a moment until the room grows loud again. Opening her eyes, she looks down at her lap, then up to Cuba, and back down at her lap, laughing softly... She begins speaking again.]
It's nice to find some time to rest during the day... no need to rush yourself--work--[muffled yawn]--will always be there... Aaah... You just tire yourself out that way, really... make yourself sick. Then work piles up and you wonder why you didn't just take nap earlier...
Mmn, it's just the satisfaction of knowing you are done and there is nothing else to do. Procrastination is the worst feeling in the world...
