I was doing so well reading this until I got to that last sentence.
& that was what made me cry.

I remember being on the field last year saying the exact same thing, but it definitely doesn't seem like a whole year ago.. and I still think of all the little things paterno used to say.. like every day of my life haha, band is definitely something you won't ever forget

oh jesus my brother is graduating in a year. how ridiculous. that's when band will REALLY be over for me i think. it stays with you though. you'll never forget mr. p's voice, i promise. good work, molly. i can't believe my freshman are all grown up.

jeff came to our last competition. and i wondered how it felt four years ago for me to see him graduate, and play his last note on the field, and then i wondered how it felt for him to see me play mine last sunday. its insane how quickly time goes by.
