Well, no honey yet. I will not be getting anything from my girls this year. ALL of the products they make will be for THEIR use, so that they can survive this first winter. But next year, I could expect about 60-80 lbs of honey. What in the HELL I will do with it all, I have NO IDEA. Maybe sell some at a farmer's market? Certainly to all of my friends, I will cut them major deals. Whatever a jar of the stuff sells for at the cheapest price in the area, I will give more for less...bread. heh. Provided they make me thick and delicious mead. No watered-down nastiness, either.
I have some friends into brewing and they have made these disgusting concoctions of so-called "mead" and it tastes only a little better than beer. And beer is filthy. I have had one mead before that was soooo tasty, but I did not get to taste very much of it because that bottle exploded.
And mostly, by thanking those who told me I couldn't do it, I was being snarky. Heh.
