One part of what people in the department I work in do is community education. There are several topics that they teach people in the community about - among them Parenting, Fatherhood,and Abstinence/Character Education

so...i was completely expecting this post to turn into a rant on abstinence only education, with anecdotal evidence to back up your argument.

Part of the reason for the long, drawn-out description of my job was to show how boring it was - hence, at the end, the "As the evidence clearly shows...."
