ps, you should totally read a book called "The Chinatown Death Cloud Peril". Lovecraft features prominently in it as a character and he has easily the best scene in the entire book which I can't give away because it's so awesome.

btw, I highly encourage you to go looking for a book called "To Battle Beyond" by CJ Henderson. It's an actual published Lovecraft crossover with a couple of old and forgotten pulp heroes, and he actually does a great job with combining Lovecraft's OH MY GOD THE HORRORS, the pulpy OH MY GOD SHOOT EVERYTHING, and modern OH MY GOD WOMEN AND NON-WHITE PEOPLE CAN ROCK TOO FTLOG. It's more or less my ficspiration here :D

That sounds utterly amazing! I am such a sucker for any and all OH GOD THE HORRORS! and I'm glad it's your ficspiration because seriously, I would have never thought of crossing CM and Lovecraft together and I would have missed out on such obvious awesome!
