They wouldn't do it on purpose mostly because they would have anticipated people getting angry at them. The news media, forth branch of the government, did infact overhype coverage of THIS tropical depression. Why? They were talking about it nonstop, how much is too much... they would litteraly stand in the middle of the street talking opinions, nonsense - they would knock on random lower class people's homes in Hialeah asking "how prepared are you for the hurricane!?" That is unneccessary. Just like when they sit inside their corporately sponsored stores (NBC -> Publix and Home Depot) to show you the long lines! Amazing, thanks for the breaking news assholes
