Here’s a link to a beautiful piece of artwork made from melted steel from the WTC towers.
Well, I think it’s beautiful, anyway.
EDIT: Within minutes of posting this, I noticed that there’s a “17” on the bow of that ship, rather than a “21”. Meaning, that’s actually a picture of the namesake of USS New York’s class, LPD-17 USS San Antonio. Additionally, I did not make it clear (and neither did the website I linked to) that only the bow stem is made from recycled WTC steel.
I’m now done ruining my own post. Thank you.
