Its hard to swallow the fact that this "journey" through University is almost over. So much to do, so little time. I wish I had more but unfortunately I am bound to a certain time schedule. I look forward to gaining a sense of normalcy once I am settled and working. In interpreting the writing of others, it is amazing to see what kinds of meanings you can find withing a line/stanza/poem/epic/novel. Complex ideas/themes can be found even in the most seemingly nonsensical writing (just read "Naked Lunch"). The fight between what to take a "symbolic" and "literal" is usually at the heart of most interpretation ( Read more... ) -
We're talkin' Basketball!
It's interesting knowing that my favorite basketball team was thinking about trading away one of my favorite players to another team for someone else. I'm not big into basketball, but I love my team and I feel like trading away a great player for another of questionable ability was quite shocking. The truth can suck sometimes....
