Dancing - 100 Moods

Jan 01, 2007 00:07

The Merry Go reached a port one night, and Zoro invited Sanji out dancing. Sanji laughed at him at first and Zoro tried to punch him, which resulted in Sanji trying to kick him, which resulted in them both struggling to get at the other, which resulted in their clothes being rumpled and their breath being heavy. When they finished, Sanji smirked at him and said if the offer still stood, he’d take it.

Zoro impressed him by actually dressing up a bit in a button down shirt with slacks, by not getting them too lost on the way to the ballroom dancing club. Zoro’s hands were firm and slightly sweaty on Sanji’s arm and hip. He had been doubtful about how much Zoro even knew about dancing, so he was surprised at how well they moved together, how easily Zoro’s leg moved back when his own moved forward, and vice versa.

“I can’t believe you haven’t fallen flat on your face yet.”

“Shut up. I’m counting.”

Sanji himself almost stopped dancing for a moment.

“Wait, what?”

Zoro frowned, looked down at his feet.

“I’m counting. Stop talking.”

“You’re counting. As in, counting the steps.”

“Aa.”

Sanji didn’t say anything for a moment, just kept dancing. Then he laughed. And Zoro tried to punch him.
