A/N: Uh...yeah, I have no excuse. Just a bit of silliness.

Hiro was going to lose his mind.

It was fine in the beginning, really, when Shuichi first fell head over heels for Eiri Yuki. Shuichi was Hiro’s best friend, so of course he didn’t mind being there when the singer needed him-be it to provide a shoulder to cry on when the novelist was cruel, or an attentive ear for Shuichi’s excited retelling of a rare moment of Eiri Sweetness. In a way, it even made him feel good, made him feel needed. So he didn’t mind at all.

Then his brother and Fujisaki started dating. And that was okay, too, because it made Yuji happy and Fuji wasn’t into public affection. It was even all right when Ryuichi Sakuma started spending time locked up in Seguchi’s office. And he dealt brilliantly with the way his American manager started making eyes at the perpetually flustered Sakano. Hiro was an open-minded individual, and he was glad that everyone was finding romance.

But there was only so much one straight man could take.

He shrugged off the tabloid rumors about what he and his band mates did when they went on tour. He laughed indulgently when blushing fans asked if he had a boyfriend. He used his best expressions and poses when they shot pictures for all the gay-friendly magazines in Japan.

But sometimes he just wanted to snap. Wanted to rip off the rainbow vest and ribbons and yell as loud as he possibly could: “I’M NOT GAY! ACCEPT ME FOR WHO I AM, DAMMIT!”

And this was why he was locked inside his apartment with the lights off and the telephone unplugged. Because as much as he loved the gay men in his life, if he had to wear one more pink triangle pin or saw Shuichi and Eiri make out one more time, he was going to have to do something disgustingly manly-like scratch himself or punch someone.

There was a knock at the door. Hiro crouched low in a corner, muttering, “no, no, no,” like a mantra. “Go away,” he groaned, squeezing his eyes shut and willing away whichever well-meaning homosexual was on the other side of his front door.

“Nakano-san?” A familiar voice carried through to his ears, and he lifted his head. “Are you home?”

Instantly, he was on his feet and scrambling to the door. He fumbled with the multiple locks and hurried to swing open the door to see the very welcome sight of Ayaka Usami, smiling at him a little concernedly.

“Is everything all right?” She asked. “Why are all your lights off in the middle of the day?”

In one, quick motion, he threw his arms around his girlfriend, who gasped aloud, and pulled her wonderfully feminine body close to his. He sighed happily, nuzzling into her soft hair, and announced in utter bliss, “I am so happy to see you!”
