Hiro thinks back to the times when he considered Ayaka fragile-a delicate form made of lilac-colored glass and tea leaves-and he realizes how silly that was.
The club is dark and loud, crowded and heavy with sweat, and Ayaka looks far too alive. Her skin is practically effervescent and Hiro has never seen so much of it. Shuichi jokes that it’s always the good girls that go wild, but even he wouldn’t have guessed there was fire and sex hidden underneath Ayaka’s chastity belt.
He loves it and Hiro thinks he would love it too, if it didn’t scare him so much.
She dances between them and suddenly has hips and a body that Hiro wouldn’t even dream about before this night. Her moves are natural seduction; the trail of her fingers down her neck to the spot below her navel is enticing without meaning to be. Her back pressed flush against him, Hiro can feel every tremor that erupts inside her. He would savor it, if the way Shuichi looks at him over Ayaka’s shoulder didn’t make him feel like a whore.
She takes his hand and his palm smoothes over flesh revealed under the ruffled hem of her skirt, and he knows he’d be her whore any day.
She sits between them at the bar and orders hard liquor, ignoring him and Shuichi when they warn her to take it slow. She’s a fan of body shots, which is fine with Hiro, because he’s a fan of limes and her mouth. They drink until their throats are numb and their only coherent words are when they ask for more to drink. Her cheeks are pink, her eyes glazed, her lips loose. She’s a goddess in their eyes-skin warm and glowing, breasts firm and fuller than the night they first met her; she smiles at their laughter and nonsensical compliments.
She drinks them both under the table, and when Hiro has a migraine the following morning, he loves her more than ever before.
