There have been layoffs within my department. I'm really wondering what kind of an environment I'll be going back to in November.

They just announced a hiring freeze for Boston University. They are trying not to have any layoffs.

Yes, we'd love to see you. I almost showed up when I was visiting my sister in Lowell the other day, but figured advance notice would be better.

I still have Molly's copy of ST:TNG Season 1 to return, so we definitely have additional excuses to get together. We're also considering getting back into game nights so look for invites in the near future.

I'm still desperately in need of sushi! We can talk more about it once I can give more public detail about what's going on with work.
